Day by day
Day 1Arrival in Madurai
Pick-up from Madurai Airport or Railway Station and hotel check-in. Visit Meenakshi Amman Temple, Thirumalai Nayakkar Mahal, the Gandhi Memorial Museum and Alagar Kovil, with the evening free for shopping at Madurai Market. Overnight in Madurai.
Day 2Madurai – Rameswaram
Drive about 170 km to Rameswaram. Visit Ramanathaswamy Temple, Agni Theertham, Panchamukhi Hanuman Temple, the Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Memorial, Pamban Bridge and Dhanushkodi beach and ghost town. Overnight in Rameswaram.
Day 3Rameswaram – Kanyakumari
Drive about 310 km to Kanyakumari. In the evening, visit Kanyakumari Beach, Sunset Point, Triveni Sangam and the Gandhi Memorial. Overnight in Kanyakumari.
Day 4Kanyakumari – Madurai departure
Watch the famous sunrise, then visit Vivekananda Rock Memorial and the Thiruvalluvar Statue by ferry, Bhagavathy Amman Temple and Suchindram Temple on the way. Drive back to Madurai for your onward journey.
