Day by day
Day 1Cochin arrival – Munnar
Meet and greet at Cochin Airport or Railway Station and drive about 130 km to Munnar, stopping at Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls, a spice plantation and tea gardens. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Munnar.
Day 2Munnar sightseeing
Full day in Munnar: Eravikulam National Park, the Tea Museum, Rose Garden, Photo Point, Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake and Blossom Park (Elephant Park optional). Overnight in Munnar.
Day 3Munnar – Thekkady
Drive about 95 km to Thekkady. Visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, Periyar Lake and a spice plantation. Optional: boating on Periyar Lake, Kathakali or Kalaripayattu shows, elephant ride. Overnight in Thekkady.
Day 4Thekkady – Alleppey houseboat
Drive about 140 km to Alleppey and board your deluxe houseboat at noon. Cruise through lakes, canals, paddy fields and villages, with a welcome drink, lunch, evening tea, dinner and breakfast on board. Overnight on the houseboat.
Day 5Alleppey – Cochin departure
After breakfast, check out and drive about 85 km to Cochin Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
